“It was incredible to get to film in my hometown and even cooler to do it on my family’s historic farm,” kommentiert Tyler Baker. “So many people from my childhood community came together to help us film this insane music video. My cousins, parents, aunts and uncles, and hometown friends all made this possible and I am extremely grateful. This is a music video for mature audiences only – don’t watch if you’re easily offended by violence. To me, art is about the story and the struggle, and sometimes you need to film a crazy, psycho-western to convey how you feel on the inside. Enjoy!”
Frontman Landon Milbourn ergänzt: “Shooting the music video for “Step Aside” was by far the most fun and exciting thing we have done as a band, creatively. Tyler Dunning Evans did a fantastic job putting all of our wild ideas together and making them come to life on film. This video expresses the grapple of good and evil that we all have within and which one we let lead our daily lives. It’s fun, it’s a little out there and metaphorically I think we got exactly what we were looking for.”
Gitarrist Brandon Qualkenbush ist auch am schwärmen: “Playing a cowboy on film was definitely a childhood dream come true. From doing our own stunts, riding a horse, exploding whiskey bottles, and six-shooter gun battles, this will certainly scratch your wild western fantasy itch.”Director Tyler Dunning Evans sagt folgendes zum Video: “There’s something timeless about both western films and rock and roll music. Goodbye June’s sound has that timeless feel. So when the guys and I realised we wanted to tell a story with “Step Aside”, it was only natural to make it a western. Working with the guys all these years has always been a great joy, but this collaboration was far and away the most fun, most ambitious and most satisfying.”
See Where The Night Goes’ is 45 minutes of runaway rock’n’roll rooted in southern blues, bringing swinging grooves, interlocking guitars and a vocal from Milbourn that gives Steven Tyler a run for his money. Goodbye June tip their hat to the classics whilst making something uniquely their own. Including songwriting contributions from the likes of Scott Stevens (Buckcherry, Halestorm, Shinedown) and the GRAMMY-nominated Blake Hubbard, ‘See Where The Night Goes’ is an album not to be missed by music fans who trust in rock’n’roll to set them free.”
‘See Where The Night Goes’ kann ab sofort vorbestellt werden.
